Shamrock Craft--Two Ways

I was sitting in my sewing room a few days ago, staring at a set of clover shaped shank buttons, when inspiration hit. This easy craft (no sewing or gluing required) can be used in two ways, as a napkin holder (make with unused hair elastics) or for a pretty St. Patrick's Day ponytail. It takes only seconds to make, but will give you a hint o' the green on March 17th

Materials:

• green shamrock shank buttons or any green shank button
• hair elastics

Instructions:

Fold the hair elastic in half and thread it through the hole on the back of the button.Loop one end over the middle section (or shank) on the back of the button, and through the other end of the elastic. Pull tightly, securing the elastic to the button. Wear enthusiastically!
